Sr. Test Engineer, MEMS (Test Engineering)

Job Summary

TheMEMS Test Engineeris responsible for the hardware and software development of production test solutions for MEMS resonators, including algorithm development, board-level hardware design, and software implementation and validation on both custom and standard automated test equipment (ATE) platforms. The MEMS Test Engineer will work closely with the Engineering and Operations groups to successfully develop and release production test solutions. Additionally, the MEMS Test Engineer will be responsible for sustaining production activities, including capacity expansion, yield enhancement, and cost reduction activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform board-level design of custom test boards and probe cards to support MEMS testing
  • Manage vendors, debug and deploy hardware to support volume ramp
  • Develop code and hardware for custom MEMS test solutions
  • Develop and maintain test software
  • Collaborate with overseas Operations personnel to release test solutions into production
  • Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects
  • Support other projects as needed by management or as business needsevolve

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, MS Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience designing and deploying complex analog circuitry,oscillator design experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in C++, embedded software using Micro Controllers and FPGA design
  • Experience with automated test equipment is a plus
  • Experience in precision Analog, High Speed board-level circuit design and Test methodologies
  • Experience with instrument automation using GPIB, USB is a plus
  • Experience in yield analysis, yield enhancement, and cost reduction is a plus
  • Experience with overseas production is a plus
